We can imagine the completed bass guitar. We put our third coat of old fashioned varnish oil on the wood tonight, and the color continues to get deeper and richer. If all goes well, by Sunday, we will have everything reassembled and Paul will be ready to let loose with some jazz bass guitar. We have started a final checklist, and can visualize most of what’s left. The only real construction remaining is the access panel to hide the electronics. We are constructing it from zebrawood with some stripes of padauk and walnut.
And… the current pictures….
