The Planning Really Starts

The Drum
Paul and I built a drum out of some old pine. We used Charlie Catlett’s table saw and cut 17 staves, each with angle 10.56 degrees off the vertical (geometry to the rescue). Continue reading
The Ukelele
The Ukelele cost a total of $8 (the tuners). The frets are nails, the bridge is a door hinge, and the leather pad at the bottom protecting the string is from an old pair of lederhosen. Continue reading
