Progress was slow and steady. We had a busy weekend, but managed to finish gluing up the body. We also tried doing a bit of rough-cut around the body to get a feel for the hand-held jigsaw (with new blade). It was VERY slow going. Continue reading

The Drum
Paul and I built a drum out of some old pine. We used Charlie Catlett’s table saw and cut 17 staves, each with angle 10.56 degrees off the vertical (geometry to the rescue). Continue reading
